"Life Could Be A Dream" Opening - Live Music by Freeway Jubilee

  • Foundation Studios 27 Foundy Street Suite 10 Asheville, NC, 28801 United States (map)

Another Second Saturday in the River Arts District of Asheville! We’ll open at 12 pm as usual, which is the same time the ArtsAVL free trolley starts running. You can hop on and hop off between downtown and the RAD until 6 pm!

Then we'll have extended hours until 9 pm for the opening of our group showcase, "Life Could Be A Dream: Visions from the Subconscious" This may be interpreted as scenes, creatures, or messages from our dreams, or as commentary on how life has wonderful potential if we could change some of the darker aspects of reality.

The Freeway Jubilee will be joining us during the opening with their evocative blend of gospel-tinged southern rock, hard-driving soulful grooves, with a flare of psychedelic mountain music.

Enjoy your selection of beverage from a wide range of beer, cider, wine, soda, kombucha, and more while browsing our 90+ resident artists' studios and displays, and watching art demonstrations!

Showcase flyer is by Luek Collins, and the featured art piece is "Sweet Dreams While the Cities Burn" by Josh Tripoli
